Rental program

Our recently established bicycle rental program is up and going strong! Locals and cruise ship passengers alike have been enjoying the bikes as a unique way of seeing Rockwood Park and the City's sights. We even heard of a bachelor party taking to the pedals for a cruise around the park and as a fun addition to their night out.

Truly fun for everyone, and there's still time for you to try it out! With the leaves changing colours and lots of cruise ships scheduled, we expect interest to continue to be high. Make sure you take advantage of this awesome way of checking out the sights while the weather allows it.

So many adventures and so little time!

The hot and dry weather made for some great cycling over the summer months, but autumn has brought with it some of the best weather for both road and mountain biking. And lots of folks have been getting after it and taking full advantage of the fine weather to enjoy the beautiful scenery on two wheels with great friends!

Check out some pictures and short trip summaries below!

Social gravel ride to start very soon!

Scouting is on going to find a route for a social gravel ride. The route may have to be adjusted depending on availability and shape of trails, but the plan is to leave from the shop and head towards the Shady Grove area. We're hoping to connect gravel & atv trails for an hour and half'ish social ride after which we'll plan to head to a local craft brew pub for some après-bike drinks and snacks!

Stay tuned, and be sure to check Facebook for the most up to date details!

In the mean time check out some pictures from the first scouting trip!

Riding on reclaimed mining grounds
Minto Bound

A few local riders took advantage of the fine fall weather and recently took a day trip to Minto to ride the trails built on top of and among reclaimed mining grounds. What a unique trail network and some really wild terrain!

Check out some pictures below.

The changing of the seasons

We've brought in a selection of sizes and colours of the most popular bikes from Trek's 2019 lineup. A few have gone home already, so if you're in the market be sure to swing by and check them out while stock and the good weather lasts!

Once the weather does finally turn, be sure to stop by as we've got the expertise and gear keep you warm and dry through all weather conditions and for all your two wheeled adventures!

Howies Hockey

As if the beautiful fall foliage wasn't sign enough, the increase in skate sharpens we've been doing lately is a definite sign the seasons are changing.

In addition to continuing to offer custom, while you wait skate sharpening, we're super excited to stock the excellent products offered by our friends at Howies Hockey Tape. We're well stocked with cloth and wax laces in multiple sizes and colours, stretch grip tape, cloth stick tape, stick wax, skate guards, and more!

The year to come
Trek World!

The boss man is back from Madison, WI where Trek holds it's annual dealer and business conference colloquially called Trek World. It was a great experience and we are all super jazzed for what 2019 has in store!

Check out some pictures below that include some snaps from a factory tour!
